Well where did we get to then… Last time we updated this project we were wheeling the Audi out of Chris at Kustom Kolors booth after achieving the matt finish we were looking for! This was the Friday before the Players show where the car was to be debuted. Then it all kind of went wrong for a while!
I had this crazy idea that 20’s would work on the car after selling a set of 19″s the same style that week.. How wrong could i of been. Whilst an awesome wheel we just couldn’t get the car down low enough on these wheels once the tyres were mounted ( A story in itself but lets save that one!)

When test fitted before the tyres we were feeling very smug with ourselves and though we had it nailed oh well you cant win them all, It did look nice though at this stage.
But it wasn’t to be so with a few hours before leaving for the Players show in Essex it was stressful times (For which i apoligise for my grumpyness to everyone). Chris had an Idea…. What about them wheels of Ollies S4… Humm they couldn’t work could they…? At this stage i was stressed and couldn’t even be botherd anymore but after a call to Ollie we pulled one off to give it a try and damm i think we could be out of the shit! Game on for tomorrow we will go to the ball! (I Have to say a HUGE thankyou to Ollie for helping us out!). Getting to the show was stress free with a carfull we arrived at the show to be greated with this!
The car was greeted with mixed feelings alot of people enjoyed it but a few didn’t…Cant win them all i guess. At this point I stood back and felt so proud of everybody (G-werks Boys – Chris) that made this happen in just over 1 week.. (See previous post). I also need to thank my wife Claire for putting up with me and the late nights…
Anyway once home the car had to go back on it crappy stock wheels so the S4 could be driven again, The hunt was on for somthing to fill the gaps! In steps friend and customer Rob who we are in the process of upgrading some parts on his A4. It was decided that the Auto Coultures no longer suited his needs so …Can you see where this is going ?……
We needed to get the paint out on these to suit the car but as these were specced for a A6 when i imported them a few years ago they fit like a glove!
The wheels are Auto Coulture Cresents and the only set in the UK

Its that time again .We have just taken stock of another fresh batch of our G60 sport manifolds. Manufactured from 304 stainless steel these manifolds offer huge gains in torque and power for your G60. Due to the increased sized 1 3/4″ runner diameter we have been able to eliminate the bottle neck in the system that is the stock cast manifold and restrictive downpipes. We have also incorperated a second lambda boss into the manifold to allow for fitting of a second lambda probe if required. These, as with the rest of the manifolds we supply, are very popular due to their build quality and performance gains so we have decided to offer them on here with a buy it now option to avoid disappointment and delays.
(Note- These are designed for the golf G60 but will also fit the g60 corrado, We recommend wrapping of the steering gaitor when used for this application)

When the Players boys asked us if we would present a trophy at their ever popular show in essex, we jumped at the chance to say yes! We thought it would be to boring to just present a standard trophy so we got our thinking caps on and between us have come up with this badboy!

So what if we have painted the Audi twice? Well, it wasn’t exactly supposed to go down like this, but shit doesn’t always go to plan, right? Even at G-werks!
Yeah you got it, the Murdered Out A6 project has been hit with a shot of paint twice in two days.
Why? Because the matting agent didn’t get along too well with the paint, that’s why.
Anyway, it’s all back on track now and we’ll be rocking a fully Murdered Audi come VW Players.
Oh, and these dropped just in time today as well…
Need sleep now.

Here at G-werks, in our experience, when an opportunity arises, it’s best to take it.
This opportunity came in the form of an Audi which, lets just say, has had an interesting life.
Having recently been asked to help build Fast Car’s latest flagship project vehicle, a Murdered Out* Nissan 350Z, we’ve been truly bitten by the 187** bug. However, with so many customer cars booked in and a couple of our own project cars still very much ‘work in progress’, there was no plan to build our own Murdered Out ride.
So, when this A6 Quattro came up for sale at a price we couldn’t refuse, it seemed like the perfect car to get the full-on Murdered treatment. With just over one week to go before this year’s VW Players Show, the build, as always seems to be the case, was gonna be super-tight.
Friday saw a hectic parts gathering mission with Richard at KW Automotive UK kindly sourcing a rare Weitec coilover kit from Germany, Greg Howell coming up trumps with a set of baller-sized wheels, and the car was booked in at The Stig’s paint shop for a super-tough new hue.
So this is where we’re at now.
Tomorrow we’ll be a lot further and by this Sunday coming there’s gonna be a serious crime scene at VW Players.
