Just spotted this genius tool available very soon over in the knocking shop. Its so simple but could save the pain of working out the PCD’s of those rare wheels you spot while breaker yard hunting..

The Official Blurb from the site. – Our easy PCD Tool is totally unique to Wheel Whores, not only due to the hand-selected fitments it can read but also because it features a handy ruler incorporated into the design. Ideal for double checking a wheel’s PCD before you part with your money, the PCD Tool is deigned to give you quick and simple piece of mind and is an essential glovebox must-have. Don’t leave home without one! For less than a packet of ciggies you would be crazy not to .

J -So, why a mk2 golf then Mike?
M -I always wanted a golf so when i spotted this 4dr. for sale at a local service station i immediately pulled the trigger. the lines of a golf 2 are classic… they have a look about them that a jetta just doesn’t.
J – Its sitting pretty. What wheels and tyres did you go for?
M – The current wheels are full chrome 16×7 porsche clubsports wrapped in a full set of hankook ventus v8s 165/40-16’s
J – Any notable ups and down to the build?
M – This is just a casual fun build. i don’t take it serious so nothing serious has happened
J – And lastly, what future plans do you have for the mk2?
M - planning on a chrome detailed stg.IV g60 swap, complete bagyard airride setup & different wheels!

I don’t know about you, but I love a bit of photography and nothing quite hits the spot like a healthy dose of Lomography.
These chaps have been going for some time now producing this fantastic book which will keep you entertained for literally minutes. So get yourself onto their website or get onto amazon for your hit of their alternative style.

Cherry Lucozade is full of sugar, tastes great and apparently ‘give you the edge’. We like it. With 68 grams of sugar it’s probably not a good idea for diabetics, though. Still, I bet it would be nice as a vodka mixer.

That’s right… Background #2. Not 5 minutes after having decorated your iPhone with Carl Taylor’s Mk3 shot in the back streets of LDN, you’re now gonna have a moral dilemma of which one to choose. Why not switch between the two? In fact, who cares what you do, it’s your phone, we just like to give and I’ll think you’ll agree Charlotte’s perfect back drop material. No need to thank us, it’s what we do…
Ian Kosiek knows how to deck a car. In this instance it’s his own fourth generation. More importantly, this car is static sprung. You heard me; STATIC!
Ian: G-werks and F6Squared salute you!

‘Where’s the Concave? Not here!’ We love the look of this ride.

I often ask myself why I even bother with this modifying malarkey when I get just as much enjoyment out of talking to people at shows and experiences their own buzz.

Well, I guess there isn’t really an answer for that. Come rain or shine were out there doing what we love. Lowering the car just those last few mm. Polishing up that deep shine or burning the paint off your arches down those country lanes.

I for one cannot wait until the season opener in Telford with Ultimate Dubs and I’m sure you feel the same. See you there.

Here are a few pictures that caught my eye on a recent trip to the interwebz. They are of Patrick Soderlund’s recent race in the Dubai 24Hs.
